Have a wonderful summer, and good luck next year!!!

I know I haven't updated the blog in a long time, and I apologize for that.  It seemed that very few people were accessing the blog, and I was putting in a lot of work on it.

I wanted to post one last time to this year's students, before the blog starts being for my next year's students.

Although we had some difficult times this year, I truly enjoyed teaching all of you, and as a class, you came a long way from that first day in September. You learned to work together on cooperative group tasks, you learned how to understand sarcastic humour, and you learned to think more critically.  I also hope you learned a bit about being nice to each other, and about accepting people for their differences. Bullying is NEVER okay.

We have some wonderful memories of this year:  our 6 field trips, our 2 teacher candidates, PJ day, Olympics activities, Literature Circles, making commercials, celebrations, "Something Beautiful", ICE-it in Math, our classmates in the Talent Show, sports, and so many other special moments.

I hope you will remember Grade 5, and me, with fondness, and I hope you will face the future with courage and determination to always do your best.

Have a great summer, and follow your dreams.

Love,

Ms. Bordonaro
