Hello Parents and Students of Room 204!
As you all know, I was away for 2 weeks recovering from surgery. I came back this week. I still haven't been feeling well, but students, you all made it easier to come back. Your decorations, your hugs, and your warm welcomes really helped me ease back into school.
Parents, thank you for the good wishes you sent through your students. Your children were wonderful for my supply teacher, Ms. Stone, and she really enjoyed working with them. They were polite, fun, respectful, and they worked hard.
As you know (or should know), reports went home on Tuesday. Please remember, even more important than the marks are the Learning Skills and the comments. It would be of great benefit to read the feedback, and apply it to learning for the rest of the year.
We are halfway through the year. Gr. 5s have 4 1/2 months left at Thorncliffe Park. We have a lot more work to cover, and a lot more fun activities to explore and discover. Students should settle in and work hard so that they are ready for middle school.
