Wow! First term reports went out, the long weekend passed, and we're getting close to March Break!
We are more than halfway through the year, and your children are heading towards Middle School soon!
I have had a lot of students forgetting to complete assignments or to hand them in. Work is getting harder, assignments are longer. Please remind your children how important it is to work hard, and get ready for Middle School.
We have had the pleasure of having our Queen's Teacher Candidate, Miss Snider, working with your children the past two weeks. She is here until March Break. She is teaching units on patterning in Math, and informational text, especially Biography, in Language.
Ask your students about the wind turbines they created, and how well they worked. See if they can tell you all about our novel study "Loser". Have them tell you about their ad campaign.
I'm sure we're all looking forward to the March Break! It starts Monday, March 14 and goes until Friday, March 18. School resumes Monday, March 21.
