Hello!
This is just a reminder that there is no school for students on Friday, February 12 and Monday, February 15. Friday is a PA Day where teachers will be interviewing parents that have been contacted. Monday is Family Day.
I hope you take the time this weekend to spend some time together, and enjoy each other's company. Family is so important, and our children grow up so fast!!!
Next week, we will have another Teacher Candidate from Queen's University joining our class to learn about teaching Grade 5, and to do some teaching. Her name is Ms. Snider, and I know everyone will make her feel welcome.
We have been working very hard the last couple of weeks, but there is still a LOT to do, especially now that we are in Term 2. Your children will soon be finished at Thorncliffe, and will head off to middle school. There is still so much for them to learn and prepare. Please talk to them about how important the next few months are, and how learning should be fun, but they should also put in their best effort.
