Hello everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful March Break. Some of the students were sharing what they did that week, and seemed to enjoy time with family.
Now we have to settle in for the last few months of Grade 5. Imagine that! Students will be heading off to Middle School soon, and they need to be ready, so it's time to work hard!!!
Ms. Boccongelle has finished her placement with us, and has gone back to finish her classes at Queen's University.
There are lots of activities going on at Thorncliffe Park, so please make sure you ask your child if they have rehearsals or practices. Many students have signed up for Badminton, Dodgeball, and soon auditions for the Talent Show will be starting.
On Thursday afternoons, we will be participating in a programme called ITLC (Intergenerational Teaching and Learning Communicating), where students will be making a craft with seniors and volunteers from the community.
